Dress Code
The dress code at Ndola Golf Club reflects a commitment to maintaining the
tradition, decorum, and respect for the game of golf. Members and visitors are
expected to adhere to the following guidelines when on the club premises:
On the Golf Course:
- Appropriate Golf Attire: Golf shirts with collars and sleeves for men, and collars (with or without sleeves) for women, are required. T-shirts, tank tops, and denim are generally not allowed.
- Tailored Bottoms: Men are typically required to wear tailored golf shorts or slacks, and women may wear tailored golf shorts, skirts, or slacks. Cargo shorts, jeans, or athletic shorts are usually not permitted.
- Golf Shoes: Proper golf shoes with soft spikes or spikeless shoes are recommended. Metal spikes are usually not allowed.
In the Clubhouse:
- Smart Casual Attire: Members and visitors are expected to wear smart casual clothing in the clubhouse. This includes collared shirts, casual slacks, or neat denim for both men and women.
- Footwear: Clean, non-metal spike golf shoes, casual shoes, or loafers are generally acceptable in the clubhouse. Flip-flops, beach sandals, and excessively casual footwear may not be permitted.
- Hats and Caps: Remove hats and caps when inside the clubhouse, unless there is a designated area where they are allowed.
Special Events and Functions:
- Formal or Themed Attire: Depending on the nature of specific events or functions, formal or themed attire may be required. Members and guests are encouraged to check event invitations for any specific dress code instructions.
It's essential for members
and visitors to familiarize themselves with the specific dress code policies of
Ndola Golf Club, as they may be subject to periodic updates or variations based
on the occasion or event. Compliance with the dress code ensures a pleasant and
respectful environment for all members and visitors at the Ndola Golf Club.
